After taking a year off after University, I wanted to continue to develop my design skills while working part-time to earn money. And thus, Liv Letters was born. I have been creating graphics for friends and family as a means to send and sell printed greetings cards and digital imagery for special occasions.
This project has been a means for me to develop my Adobe Illustrator skills outside of the Higher Education setting and has been my first non-education based passion project. The visuals include range in style and content, but stick to a theme of simplified shapes and text based imagery in order to create the final outcome.
This project has allowed me to have free range to play with design in a more pressure-free setting, testing new techniques and styles of illustration, and finding ways that the Adobe CC Creative Suite can help me to communicate my ideas within the discipline of design.
